Oh well. Whatever. Nevermind.

Alright so I lied before and said I was going to get back to posting and then I didn't but this time I really mean it, consider this the first in a whole slew of posts. Also I've been messing around for how the site works, etc. so look for an update on that.
Moving on, some one tell John Mellencamp to shut the fuck up for the love of God. That commerical he's doing with Chevy is going to drive me to kill someone, and I mean that almost literally. When I close my eyes I hear "This is our country…." I can't get it out of my head. Working in a bar during NFL Sunday's I hear that commerical approx. 300 times in the span of 7 seven hours. I can't get away from it, its driving me insane. I was a big fan of "Jack and Diane" but I hearby vow to never, ever, have anything to do with Mellencamp again. This is too much.
Related story: Two Sunday's ago I went to Detroit with the Old Man to catch Game 2 of the World Series (it was freezing cold but awesome, etc.). This was the first Sunday I hadn't worked since the NFL started and I was looking forward to being Mellencamp-free for, fingers-crossed, the entire day. So what happened? To my utter horror, before the game, the PA guy gets on and announces that John Fucking Mellencamp will be preforming "This is our country" live. I can't avoid that fucking song.
(Note: apologies for the profanity but I feel strongly about this. Also, I'm not even going to get into how awful the actual commerical is or anything like that, though it is awful, its just the song is slowly killing me)
Posting will resume shortly. What with a new apartment, new job, old job, etc, etc. things have been a little crazy.
