I love you Gilbert
And so my man-crush on Gilbert Arenas continues. My boy dropped 60 points (a franchise record) on the Lakers in a 147-141 overtime win in L.A. He also handed out 8 assists and grabbed 8 boards. In short, the guy's sick and I love him. My first born child, boy or girl, will more then likely be named Gilbert
Other random notes on the game:
- I tried out my DVR thingie for the first time tonight. Was cruising through the game, missing the commercials, when the end of the game approaches. Wizards are up 5 with around 20 seconds left. Apparently the DVR was only planning to record until midnight cus all of a sudden the thing was over (not the game, my recording of it). This was some what upsetting because I didn't no the final result, though i assumed a positive outcome. Well I went over to Comcast Sports and…the Lakes had tied the game and they were halfway through overtime. Its not worth it to miss the commercials if I end up potentially missing the ending.
- Is it a NBA rule that when a player on the away team fouls out of a game the home team has to play "Hit the road Jack" over the speakers? This happens every time.
- The gold and black alternate uniforms the Wizards have are hideous…and yet they are growing on me.
