February 10th = big day (Updated)
With today's news that Senator Barack Obama (D-Ill.) is forming a presidential exploratory committee February 10th is shaping up to be one of this year's most pivotal dates. On that day you see, Senator Obama says he will declare once and for all if he's running or not (he is people, you can be happy now mom) for President AND I will be taking the GRE's for the first time. I know, two issues of national importance.
Yes thats right, while Senator Obama is announcing his candidacy I will be locked up in some window-less hell hole for four hours trying desperately to remember the basics of 8th grade math. Should be a good time. I have no idea what I'm planning on doing with my scores but I figure I'm not getting any smarter, and in fact may be getting dumber, so why not take them now? Any and all advice/study tips are much appreciated. My current plan is to ignore the impending date till the last minute, then desperately by some study guide at Barnes and Noble the day before and spend all night cramming. New Year's resolutions take effect starting…NOW!
Update: Figure I might as well link to the Senator's video message announcing his formation of the presidential committee. Interesting to watch. He's clearly going to run and I must say I'm pretty excited to see how this all plays out. The man's a talented speaker, that much is obvious.
