He should be thanking them

I come bringing good news: comedian Sinbad is, in fact, not dead. I know, I know, what a relief. Apparently though some clever little scamp changed Sinbad's Wikipedia page to say that he had died from a heart attack which cames as a bit of a surprise to Sinbad's friends and family, not to mention the man himself

Actor-comedian Sinbad had the last laugh after his Wikipedia entry announced he was dead, the performer said Thursday. Rumors began circulating Saturday regarding the posting, said Sinbad, who first got a telephone call from his daughter. The gossip quieted, but a few days later the 50-year-old entertainer said the phone calls, text messages and e-mails started pouring in by the hundreds.

"Saturday I rose from the dead and then died again," the Los Angeles-based entertainer told The Associated Press in a phone interview.

Later on in the article it mentions that Sinbad has yet to receive and apology from Wikipedia for the mistake. Sinbad should be getting an apology? For what? This is the best thing to happen to the guy in years; when was the last time you heard Sinbads name out there? Hell, he might as well have been dead. If I were Sinbad I'd be looking to buy who ever edited his entry a drink because they've done more PR work for him in the last week then he's had done for him in the last 10 years.
