My enemy’s enemy is my friend
Let me stipulate first that Newt Gingrich is not someone who should be taken seriously on any matter. Having said that, its fun watching him tear into the current Republican presidential field. Even more fun? Seeing him take shots at Chris Matthews at the same time (via Atrios):
Gingrich mocked Republican presidential candidates for subjecting themselves to a May debate hosted by Chris Matthews of MSNBC’s “Hardball.”
“You’re watching an utterly irrelevant, shallow television celebrity dominate everybody who claimed they want to lead the most powerful nation in the world,” he said.
Give me more Newt, I need more.
