Lenny Dykstra profile in New Yorker

A month old but you really need to read Ben McGrath’s profile of Lenny Dykstra in The New Yorker if you haven’t already. It’s a great profile/read.

Among the things you’ll learn about Dykstra:
- carries three cell phones
- loves to use baseball as a metaphor
- been remarkably successful in business post-baseball
- is an avid day trader
- does not use turn signals while driving
- keeps three laptops in his car, one in the front seat, one in the back seat and one in the trunk
- seems slightly insane but in a fairly nice way

Go read it. On a personal note, FOTB Dan will now be known as “Thumbtacks”.
