Least surprising accident ever
I mean really:
A 20-year-old man speeding around semi trucks while standing on the seat of a motorcycle died Thursday evening when he lost control of the bike and crashed.
It sucks the guy died, and its probably even worse that he was active duty Army…..but come on.
What I think is odd is that I’ve noticed most motorcyclists I see are NEVER, EVER wearing helmets. When I took the motorcycle class last year all of the motorcycle guys bitched about having to wear helmets in class the whole time, and proudly declared that they never wore a helmet and that somehow wearing a helmet defeats the entire point of motorcycling.
Yet me, going 35mph on my scooter always wears a full-face helmet, as does pretty much every scooterist I know (okay, a few people wear pisspots).
