Mark your calendars people:
Universal will release its Sacha Baron Cohen pic “Bruno” on May 15, and so far, there are no other R-rated comedies near it.
Like Borat, the title character of Fox’s 2006 box office hit, Bruno is one of a trio of characters created and played by Cohen in TV skein “Da Ali G Show.”
As Bruno, Cohen pretends be a flamboyant fashion and celebrity journalist from Austria who interviews unwitting members of the public who believe Bruno is a real person.
Now I know what I’ll be doing on May 15th, 2009. Is there any doubt that it will be as good, if not better, then Borat?
