Compare and contrast the enthusiasm

Tonight Senator Barack Obama is going to give a speech at the Democratic Convention in front of an estimated 75,000 people, with tickets being basically impossible to get.

Tomorrow Senator John McCain is having a rally where he’s probably going to unveil his Vice Presidential pick in front of 10,000 people. And yet there are still plenty of tickets available.

Obama speaks in front of 75,000 people. McCain can’t get 10,000 to a rally. I suppose this might be more proof that Obama is just a “celebrity” but the contrasts in enthusiasm levels is really quite stark.
