The Great Zucchini himself comments

The Great Zucchini himself commented on my post about him. Here is his comment, in full:

Hey, my friend, once in a while I check out some blogs about me and ran into yours. I’m glad you enjoyed the article. Lots of people ask me if I was sandbaged or if I knew what was going to be printed. Gene Weingarten was so honest with me and we were both under the impression that it would be a compelling story and we didn’t think it would hurt buisness. The funny thing is I will be a parties and dad’s will ask me what side of a game I like. The article did terrific things for me, for instance my public shows are usually sold out. I’m still packed on weekends. The one thing that is not exactly true is that it’s not only weekend work. Remember, there are lots of preschools in the metro area, and I perform quite a few of them. Also, the bday party is usually 50 minutes because I play games with the kids after show. The other cool thing is that there writing a script in Hollywood based on my life story. I never thought my life was all that interesting until Gene Weingarten followed me around. Anyway, thanks for taking an interest, be sure to introduce yourself at future show. I would definitely see that movie. And now I think I’m going to have to get myself to one of his shows. Thanks for the comment Mr. Great Zucchini.
