Happens to the best of us: Larry Page and Sergey Brin, founders of Google and rich as hell, have their credit card declined while trying to pay for a 30 Euro bill. (via Vallywag)

As I struggle to cope with my iPhone envy watching this video helped a bit.
Some one screwed up. Via Kottke, ABC News does a rundown of their 100 favorite blogs…and doesn’t link to any of them. Wonder how long till they fix it.
Now I really want to get an iPhone after seeing the video after the jump. It can do everything, even sideburns! Oh, and the Onion had a nice little iPhone graphic too (via Chris Hayes).
Hmmmm…coincidence? Google releases Hebrew and Arabic language interfaces for Gmail at the same time.
Kudos to the people at SB Nation. Their new site design looks pretty good, a vast improvement over the old one. (via Bullets Forever)
Yes this is my computer’s (both at work and at home) desktop background. You have a problem with that?
I don’t need a new phone. I already have a lovely Blackberry Pearl that I’m quite happy with. It does everything (and more) that I need a phone to do. Having said that….I really really want to get an iPhone. Like really really. I dont care that its unbelievably expensive ($1936, factoring in add-ons and contracts), look at these ads and tell me you dont want this phone. How sick does that look?
At this point the only thing stopping me from trying to get one is the fact that I have a bad history of breaking phones by dropping them late at night when I’m, uh, tired. I’ve had the Pearl since November ‘06 and thats the longest I’ve ever gone without need a replacement. I’d put the chances at 60/40 that I end up getting this expensive phone that I don’t need in the slightest and probably won’t even figure out how to use all the cool features just cuz thats how I roll son.
I really need to get into the whole “selling web domain names game”, seems quite lucrative.
This is a little inside baseball (ok really inside baseball) but for those interested in journalism, politics and the blogs, Josh Marshall put together a little video tour of TPM Media’s work space.
