Best news I’ve heard all day

Finally, finally Kevin Drum makes the move to full content RSS feeds (via Brian Beutler). Its about time. Actually, according to Kevin, they’ve offered a full feed the whole time, just know one knew about it/could find it. Who knew?

I am of the belief that everyone should provide full content feeds. Despite being a big fan, I’ve only on occasion read Kevin because I’m not inclined (or too lazy) to follow the partial feed out of Reader. The content is great, the presentation was the problem. Now that I’m getting a full feed Kevin goes to the top of the list of people I’ll be reading every day. Next up should be Josh Marshall. Its time to help your readers out Josh.

Also, good to see Kevin trying and liking Google Reader. Welcome to the club friend.

Google Reader graduates from Google Labs. Job well done folks, congrats.

My old blog reader, Bloglines, has released a new beta version. Tempting, I’ll admit, but I’m sticking with Google Reader.

I spent a not inconsiderable amount of time today adding all the feeds from this Top 40 list of Feedburner feeds to my Google Reader. Hopefully I’ll get some keepers from it.
