A random list of thoughts after a week spent traveling:
1. Alaska Airlines, wtf? Non-stop DC to LA and no in-flight movie? And no free meal, you expect me to shell out $5 for a little dish of airplane food? Not flying you again if I can help it.
2. Rental car companies dont check to make sure your driver’s license hasnt been suspended. Dont ask me how I know this but its true. You’d think they would since, you know, you are renting a car and all.
3. Why do expensive hotels charge for internet access (10 bucks a day at the Doubletree San Pedro) while cheaper hotels dont (free, though no wireless, at the Fairfield Inn in Ontario).
4. There is no better hamburger then an In-N-Out burger but the fries leave a lot to be desired (probably because they are so fresh/healthy).
5. Having a GPS thing in the car is a life changing event, one of those times where once you’ve experienced it you cant imagine not having one.
