At our office pre-July 4th lunch party they had 10 month old Heineken (literally 10 months old, not an exageration) and this other beer called “Summer Shandy”, made by a brewery in Wisconsin, Leinenkugel. Naturally I went with the Summer Shandy and you know what? Its pretty damn good. Its actually a beer/lemonade combo and the result is a nice flavor with a bit of that lemonade tart kick at the end. Wikipedia, natch, has more on shandies. Anyway, two thumbs up for this beer. As a show of approval I stole a six-pack to bring home with me. Can’t have a beer this good sit around for 10 months waiting to be consumed.
